What is a super administrator?
A super administrator is a special user who has access to more settings and to template code not available to other users. A super administrator is also eligible for access to the site's GIT repository to edit templates as well as SCSS and other files.
Interested?
If you're interested, there are two things required for this option to be available for your site.
1. Your website must use Liquid templates. If your website was built in 2023, chances are very high that it uses Liquid templates. If your site was built prior to that, your chances decrease as the site age increases. In any case just ask, we can figure it out for you quickly. An upgrade to liquid templates is a great way to increase site performance and improved management experience. If you're interested in an upgrade or have questions, just let us know.
2. Anyone given Super Administrator access needs to have a working level of front end development knowledge. You'll need to understand the DOM, mark-up, SCSS and a few more things. We'll also want you to acknowledge that with great power comes great responsibility, meaning that you'll have the ability to create problems that extend beyond our normal support agreement. If you need help repairing/restoring an issue, we're happy to assist, however if the work is a significant undertaking, there may be a small cost for the work.
If you're comfortable with the knowledge requirement, submit a support ticket and we'll get you setup. In addition, if you have questions and would like to understand a little more, submit a ticket to let us know and we'll happily walk you through an introduction to the system.
